More Carenado X-Plane updates

Carenado's upgrade program for its X-Plane aircraft continues...
 
The C172N Skyhawk II has now been updated to Version 2.0 and this new version is compatible with X-Plane 9.7 and X-Plane 10.21 (32-bit and 64-bit) on the Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. Various new optimisations and a number of further improvements make this a major update which is recommended for all current C172II pilots. Just log in to your Just Flight Account and re-download the files to get the new version - see the Documentation folder with the aircraft files for the full list of updates. 
 
The M201 M20J, PA-32R 301 Saratoga SP, C152 and PA-28 Archer II were all updated for X-Plane 10 compatibility in mid-May but have now been updated again to Version 2.1 with further improvements and X-Plane optimisations - again, please re-download the files to get the updates.

The Majestic Software Dash 8 Q400 (Pilot Edition) has now been updated to V1.007, and this latest update provides a host of fixes and improvements to the FMS, EFIS, gauges, systems and more besides.

A Service Pack (542MB) is now available for our L-1011 TriStar add-on for FSX, providing a number of updates and fixes as well as the option of adding an FMC to the aircraft - see the Support page for all the details.
 
If you have the Boxed edition, please download and install the Service Pack.
 
If you bought the Download edition before the date above, please install the Service Pack OR re-download and install the updated software.
 
If you bought the Livery Pack before the date above, please re-download and install the updated Livery Pack software.

Release date for Eurofighter Boxed edition confirmed

The Boxed edition of our Eurofighter add-on for FSX will be released on Thursday 4 July and is available to pre-order.
 
Updated software for the Eurofighter was released last week and provides a number of enhancements and fixes including an updated HUD, improved VC night lighting and a new Spanish Air Force livery - see the Support page for full details.
 
If you bought the Download edition of Eurofighter before 19 June, please reinstall the Eurofighter software to get the updated version.
 
Both the Boxed and Download editions of Eurofighter are priced at £24.99 / €30.95 / $37.99.

New WWII trainer and a new light attack/observation aircraft

We've been getting a great aviation education lately from some of the aircraft from third party developers which we've released - here are two more which we've been enjoying flying for the first time.
 
The twin-boom North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco is a light attack and observation aircraft which was developed in the 1960s and saw service in Vietnam as well as being exported to several air forces around the world.
 
Aerosoft's Bronco X was designed with assistance from the German Wing of the OV-10 Bronco Association, which inherited several aircraft from the German Luftwaffe, and features engine failures, an interactive checklist for all phases of flight and accurate start-up procedures.
 
The Fairchild PT-26 Cornell was the primary training aircraft for a number of air forces during WWII and the Flysimware package features custom sounds and animations, four-stage propeller and prop effects, a Hobbs engine hours gauge, animated pilot and four liveries.

Five new Livery Packs (Packs 16-20) are now available for our 757 Jetliner Freemium add-on for FSX, each one containing two liveries and, depending on the Pack, -200/-300 models, winglet/non-winglet versions, and aircraft with RB211 engines or Pratt & Whitney engines.
 
Each Livery Pack is priced at £1.99 / €2.49 / $2.99, or you can buy all ten together in the new Livery Combo Pack 2 for £6.99 / €8.95 / $10.99.
 
All the earlier 15 Livery Packs are still available, as is Combo Pack 1 which includes all 30 of the  liveries in Packs 1-15.
 
757 Jetliner Freemium is a fully fledged F-Lite 757 simulation which is completely FREE to download. The FlightSim Commander software has now been updated to v9.3, which is the version currently on sale.
 
Please see the Support page for the list of new features, the main one being a new pop-up window showing all the required data for navigation.
 
If you have already bought FlightSim Commander 9.2, you can get the updated 9.3 software by reinstalling it after downloading the updated installer from your Just Flight account (once you are logged in, click on the Purchase Details tab).

Eurofighter Boxed edition now on sale

The Boxed edition of our Eurofighter add-on for FSX is now in stock, and all pre-orders will be dispatched today.
 
The Eurofighter has been fully updated to include all the enhancements and fixes which were provided in the updated Download software which was released on 19 June.
 
This new Eurofighter collection includes the single-seat model in thirteen liveries from the air forces of six countries and the fully functional virtual cockpit features an impressive Head-Up Display and accurate multi-function displays with a variety of pages for navigation, aircraft systems monitoring and interactive checklists.
 
The highly detailed model is equally authentic and is complete with six ordnance load-outs and numerous external animations.

Royal International Air Tattoo

Our preparations are under way for our trip to this year's Royal International Air Tattoo, which will be taking place over the weekend of 20-21 July at RAF Fairford near Swindon. We'll have a stand there so look forward to saying hello to those of you who will be enjoying this huge event.
 
Needless to say, there will a spectacular line-up of aircraft both on the ground and in the air, and it even looks like the weather might be good!

Two new Livery Packs for L-1011 TriStar

If you'd like to expand your Just Flight L-1011 TriStar fleet, two new livery packs are now available by Download.
 
Livery Packs 2 and 3 both include civilian liveries of airlines from Europe, the Americas and Asia and provide a mix of well-known airlines and some more obscure carriers - there are 11 new liveries in Pack 2 and 12 in Pack 3.
 
These liveries were used on other variants of the TriStar rather than the L-1011-500 TriStar variant featured in the Just Flight add-on, but we've had plenty of requests from users who'd like to see these liveries adorn their TriStar, so here they are!
 
The packs are compatible with both the Download and the Boxed edition of L-1011 TriStar and are priced at £6.99 / €8.95 / $10.99 each.

Livery Pack 1 is also still available, with ten airline liveries and six RAF paint schemes.

Traffic 360 Update

A major update (82.6MB) for Traffic 360 is now available and should be installed by all users of the Download, Boxed and Upgrade versions. 
 
The v1.09 Update provides a number of fixes and upgrades including livery updates, model and tail number corrections, schedule updates, ATC ID alterations, missing sound fixes and alterations to schedules to reduce the amount of stationary traffic.
